What to Expect During Your Intimate Rejuvenation Appointment
Every treatment at Tone & Core begins with a confidential consultation. Your provider will review your medical history, discuss your concerns regarding intimate wellness, and determine whether PRP treatment is medically appropriate for you. This step ensures the treatment plan is safe, personalized, and aligned with your health goals.
A small sample of blood is drawn from your arm, similar to a routine blood test. The blood is processed in a centrifuge to isolate platelet-rich plasma, which contains concentrated growth factors responsible for tissue repair and regeneration.
Before treatment begins, the treatment area is prepared to ensure the procedure is as comfortable as possible. A medical-grade topical numbing cream is applied to the external and internal areas involved in the treatment. This numbing step typically takes 20 to 30 minutes to fully take effect, allowing the tissue to become desensitized so the injections can be performed with minimal discomfort.
Once the area is fully numbed and prepared, the platelet-rich plasma is carefully introduced into targeted areas of vaginal tissue using a very fine needle. PRP is typically placed into areas that play an important role in sexual response and tissue health. These areas contain a dense concentration of nerve endings and vascular structures that contribute to sexual sensation, arousal, and tissue function.
