What Is a Well-Woman Exam?
A well-woman exam is a comprehensive preventive health visit designed specifically for women. It includes a review of your reproductive health, hormonal health, overall wellness, and any concerns specific to women's health at your current life stage.
At Tone & Core in Lakewood Ranch, well-woman exams are performed by Dr. Vargas in a private, respectful, and unhurried environment. Every visit is personalized to your age, health history, and individual concerns.
Pap testing (also known as a Pap smear) is performed as part of your well-woman exam to screen for cervical changes that may indicate early signs of cervical abnormalities. Frequency is based on your age and prior results, following current clinical guidelines.
Please note that laboratory and pathology fees associated with Pap testing are not included in the membership and are billed separately. We strive to provide transparent pricing and will inform you of any expected fees in advance.
We proudly serve women from Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton, Sarasota, Parrish, Palmetto, Fruitville, Siesta Key, and surrounding communities.
